Tendo Choi is a main character in the 2013 film Pacific Rim.
Canon
Tendo worked as a ferryman in San Francisco when Terspasser attacked. Three years after evacuating San Francisco, in 2016, Tendo joined the Jaeger Academy, joining the J-Techs after graduating. Tendo oversaw the fight that Raleigh Becket and Yancy Becket fought against Knifehead and remained at the Shatterdome once the Jaeger returned to Anchorage. He meets Alison in 2020, however the increase in Kaiju attacks meant that he is distanced from them, stationed in LOCCENT at all times. He is one of the few personnel remaining active in the PPDC. He worries about the lack of funding and support from the United Nations will bring about the end of the Jaeger Program.
