tdgossipgirl was an infamous blog on Tumblr for the Total Drama fandom. Similar to theconfessioncam and antitotaldramapopulars, which had come before it, the blog was for harassing BNFs in the fandom at the time, (some of whom were minors.) The blog's gimmick was that it would make "tabloid style" exposés.
tdgossipgirl originally began as camerainthepotty, a non-BNF related TD anonymous confession blog, before rebranding itself. After rebranding, it largely abandoned TD canon entirely and harassed BNFs for whatever they posted on Tumblr in general, exploiting personal information about them. The blog was created by a sockpuppet of "Tasha," an infamous harasser in the fandom, who was also behind theconfessioncam and antitotaldramapopulars. By the time tdgossipgirl was created, most Total Drama fans on Tumblr were tired of Tasha's antics, then primarily known as Cherri. Most surviving posts from the blog were edited in reblogs to say various things, a trend which may have gotten started by redandfranticfeelings[1]. Others refused to particulate with the blog, or weren't aware of its existence before it was deactivated only around two hours after rebranding itself.
tdgossipgirl would later "come back" as a new blog called weinerchallenged around 04 March, which impersonated Total Drama BNF at the time winnerchallenged. weinerchallenged would stay up for an unknown amount of time before being deactivated soon afterwards.
Something of note is that tasha-loves-duncney decried the blog and wanted it deleted when it first popped up in February, the pseud that Tasha is most known by.[2]
