Tan Ru is a gen anthology of articles and reviews, and a small amount of fiction.
The primary focus was Star Trek: TOS.
It is a club zine of Not Nasti and has a sister zine, a newsletter called Really Nasti. This zine is sort of the second issue of Chronicles, 'an ST, sf, Tolkien, and fantasy zine,' split into two zines, Tan Ru for ST, Chronicles of the King for Tolkien, so that members could form two clubs, the National Organization for Tolkien & the National Association for Star Trek, Inc. (the latter Not Nasti).
