Talk:X-Ville
Loligo 01:22, 11 October 2008 (UTC) If you're curious, here's the thread where Portia originally proposed the ATXF Chamber of Commerce, which grew into X-Ville:

I was never a very active participant in X-Ville, but I always had warm fuzzy feelings toward it, because it sort of coalesced in a reply to one of my very first posts/comments ever in ATXF (I was posting under my real name back then). It really made me feel like I belonged in X-Files fandom. (And on a more personal level, it was my first contact with Portia, who eventually became a close friend of mine in real life.)
- Excellent! I'll read it over and adjust my opening paragraph with the new citation. Personally, I found myself put off by X-Ville at first, but it was such a prominent part of the newsgroup that I figured it was better to join them than hate them. It was a good decision. --Punk 06:40, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
