Talk:William Shatner Appreciation Society

As of mid-1971, a club with this same name was being run by Sue Clejan (see last paragraph, front page of Issue #15 on the DECK 6 page). That's all I actually know about the club.

Both Sue Clejan and Sue Kotar subscribed to DECK 6, so I can tell you that Clejan (late 1970 - early 1972) lived in California and Kotar (mid 1969 - early 1972) lived in New York State. It sounds like Kotar's involvement has also been verified, so it may have been the same club (with them either working together long-distance or with Clejan having passed the club to Kotar), or it could have been two unrelated clubs with the same name at different times.

Thanks for adding the info, MPH. I should also point out that, since during the time between late 1970 and early 1972 both Sue's subscribed to DECK 6 -- from opposite sides of the country -- we can pretty well rule out the possibility that they were the same woman who changed her surname due to marriage or divorce.
