Really, the longest? Just how long is it? I mean, entering some Almost Foolproof Press zine the other day I looked at that webpage and saw a Wiseguy novel, The Terranova Situation, that was published in 16 volumes with 2700+ pages...--Ratcreature 07:33, 19 September 2009 (UTC)
- Beats me, I'm just quoting The Hatstand there. Maybe I should make the quote reference clearer? Like "according to The Hatstand, it is the longest..." Or, "according to The Hatstand, at the time, it was the longest..." (Problem is I don't have a date from TH to give it context. Maybe I should take it out? - I suspect it is more hyperbole to characterize it, or maybe it was particularly long for a circuit story? I think it should stay in, but maybe with clearer quotes so that it's obvious that's from a review of the zine rather than someone having done a statistics curve of Pros story lengths. *g*--Ratcreature 11:35, 19 September 2009 (UTC)
- How's that? And I see you put a date after my reference. That's something I should be doing every time, right? (yes, MPH can be taught *grin*) Mrs. Potato Head 12:20, 19 September 2009 (UTC)
- FWIW, it's not claimed to be the longest story in fandom, just the longest story in Pros slash -- and it is, it's huge, 350,000 words (it's online now, and I did a word count on it). Not a match for TerrSit, but still. There are some Pros series that are larger, but it's definitely the longest standalone novel in the fandom. --Arduinna 06:38, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
