Vriscourse

I'm currently working on this section, and just want to note that everything I've put "citation needed" on, I'm fairly sure I can find citations for and just haven't yet. I'm also planning to expand the paragraph on Vriska's "antihero" characterization, as that seems like an important part of her perception by fandom. Also, the Hussie section, and I admit that I'm personally kind of confused/don't know how Hussie feels about Vriska. He's said a lot of stuff, and there's a lot of irony involved, and I just DK, I guess more research for another day. --Vinceren (talk) 20:22, 6 May 2022 (UTC)

I wish all the citations I have for anti-Vriska sentiment weren't just random links from the top of the "vriska hate" tumblr tag, retrieved circa Right Now, but not only is it hard to trawl the history of HS fandom in general, but also I've realized something that's probably obvious: Vriska likers have a bunch of archived masterlists to pro-Vriska metas thoughtfully and lengthily articulating their feelings about Vriska. Most Vriska haters don't seem to have gone beyond (or even preserved documentation of) "I hate Vriska so I'm not going to engage with her" which, fair, totally makes sense, but also kind of fucks my current attempt to do a well-cited balanced Vriscourse writeup! Also, reorganized slightly. To do: flesh out "Vriska and Heroism" paragraph, expand Hussie and Mitchell sections (WITH CITATIONS), look for a wider range of Vriska-centric meta, then finally clean up/linkback mentions on mainpage. --Vinceren (talk) 22:30, 8 May 2022 (UTC)
