VS based around OCs?

When looking for URLs for SG-1 virtual seasons, I've seen projects that are like virtual tv series but with original characters. Kind of like virtual spin-off series. Do these count as VS? Is this a different genre? I had never seen them before so I don't know what is commonly thought of these.--Ratcreature 17:24, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

Is Peg-B a virtual season?

I don't know much about it, but it seems like it might fit the definition.--Sherrold 20:48, 12 December 2008 (UTC)

I don't think Peg-B had "episodes", published on a schedule like a VS. IMO the emulation of the tv structure is what makes a VS different from just a shared universe. I think there was a "pilot" that started the Peg-B shared universe, but the rest isn't all like eps.--Ratcreature 21:13, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
