The online link does not need to be removed. Skeeter is currently down due to hacker attacks, but iirc there were announcements on lists (like I got one through senfic) that the site would be back up again as soon as they moved to a more secure hosting service.--RatCreature 15:07, 27 February 2010 (UTC)

I didn't know. And I didn't want folks to be led into disaster (I'm still reeling from a virus that killed my computer at work last Monday for simply clicking to read the local newspaper in Minneapolis... makes me real dodgy right now). The mail on senfic from the 16th Feb said, in reference to the Cascade Library (and the other sites:

The server that skeeter63.org is hosted on has been under siege by hackers for several months. Finally, yesterday, things came to a head and the site had to be shut down entirely. This is only a temporary shutdown. The domain and all its sites will be moving to a new server with a newer OS and security tools.

Hopefully this will resolve some of the issues we've been having.

I will let you know when skeeter63.org is back up and running.

Feel free to pass the news to anyone you know who uses any of skeeter63's sites.
