Weirdly, Pros fandom had so few ways to communicate with itself at the time, it's really hard to know. (At that time, they didn't have many/any letterzines, or zines with LOC columns like the K/Sers had.) I didn't get in for a couple of years afterwards, and I never found any source about what happened.
