Hey, if anyone knows which media called "Ghost Whisperer" and "Source Code" are being referenced in the "Canon Examples" section, could you add that info? Since the names have been used for multiple media, it would be nice if we could have that info. -- Revision as of 20:44, 20 April 2022 by NinthFeather (Talk)

Hi NinthFeather I believe I know which Ghost Whisperer you are quoting about. In one episode, if I'm not mistaken, the main character's husband dies and reincarnates in the body of a man, who had had an accident minutes before (sorry for the spoiler for those who haven't seen it). I think there are other examples in the series as it addresses a woman with supernatural powers. (Ah sorry for the edit on the talk page I added the signature so everyone knows who is saying what) -- Ellakbhesse (talk) 00:27, 21 April 2022 (UTC)
Hi Ellakbhesse, thank you for clarifying! I think that TV show does include some transmigration elements, from what you've said and what others have told me (I haven't seen it myself). I just wasn't sure if that was the media the person who originally added it was talking about, or if there was another piece of media with that name that had transmigration as a prominent plot element. Thanks for clearing it up!
I think I was the one who added Ghost Whisperer, and Jake Gyllenhaal's 2011 film Source Code. I watched the series on television when I was younger, and the movie I saw a few years ago. I would never forget those plots. Now remembering I was also the one who added the Heaven Can Wait movies and their related -- Ellakbhesse (talk) 03:44, 21 April 2022 (UTC)

Canon content

The Altered Carbon television series based on the book of the same name. Criminal and Self/Less starring Ryan Reynolds. Both of these three media feature medical/clinical methods of mind transfer in their plot. The human brain and its memories sent to another body. There is also a movie with Stephen Baldwin that features the same. Would this be a transmigration or would it be bodyswap? -- Ellakbhesse (talk) 05:10, 25 April 2022 (UTC)
