Talk:Torch (fan)
I like the template you're using here, Mary, but having all three of these categories seems like overkill:
- 3 References
- 4 Related Links
- 5 External Links Sherrold 19:59, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
- That was me that added that part. References for inline citations, related for in-wiki links and associations, and external just in case. Though anyone is welcome to change that. Especially with people who did a lot of varied activities, it made sense to haev all three, though doubtless someone will find a better or cleaner way. --Seperis 20:03, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
- I"m actually in there editing away now, and planning on taking most of that out -- it really does seem a bit like overkill on a basic fan page. They can always be added back in later if they're needed. --Arduinna 20:18, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
injokes?
I assume the Torch/Merry thing is some kind of injoke that makes sense to whoever added it to both pages, but I think if this is supposed to be a part of the wiki page it needs some kind of reference link to show why that is here, how it is relevant or whatever. I mean, if this is some kind of fannish running gag I can see it on the page when explained, but as it is now it doesn't make a lot of sense, IMO.--Ratcreature 12:28, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
- It was a running thing for them at least in popslash -- they'd get feedback on each other's stories, etc. I'll see if I can dig up more of an explanation/cites, but if not, I'll take it out of both places -- you're totally right, it doesn't make sense as it stands. --Arduinna 18:03, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
