Talk:The Scully Effect
While it never had this title, I think that the "Uhura Effect" is similar; many female fans talked about the elation and empowerment they felt seeing a Uhura on the bridge of the Enterprise, and how this inspired them generally, but also some women specifically as they decided to go into careers that involved science, engineering, and other similar fields. --MPH (talk) 01:19, 31 January 2020 (UTC)
