Oh, how I loved this story! You know, there aren't any examples in the WIP article (nor any mention of breaking fannish trust) -- this would be a great example of a WIP that was never finished...--Sherrold 04:57, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
- Personally I wouldn't want to label something as never finished without evidence that the creator has dropped out of fandom / off the face of the Earth / has said they've entirely gone to other things. MidnightBlue does periodically mention she's still around and intending to complete the story (there's a post to that effect from early this month, in fact). Now, if we have a concise term for something that's been in-progress for years and thus people get troubled about the wait. Which could so be said for some profic, hey, have we got Jean M.
