Talk:The Eagle

As this is a quite an active fandom, I've expanded the page. I'm not sure if a synopsis is usual, but I felt it relevant to show how the screenplay diverged from the book and how that impacted characterisation to the extent a large slash following was created. There are a few other links I want to add/change but LJ is currently down so I'll come back to it in a few days.--amandawarrington 10:58, 26 July 2011 (UTC)

Looks good to me. :) --Doro 11:34, 26 July 2011 (UTC)
The previous changes I made, I edited around what already existed but I felt after, that I ended up jumping about between the book and film in a not very coherent way, so I've tried to streamline it and hope it makes it more readable. I've added a couple of links, particularly one to the LJ community in the box top right for reasons of prominence, as this page is one of the first listed on Google when searching for The Eagle fanfic and the community is trying to better advertise itself, but I can't for the life of me remember what other links I had intended to add from LJ while it was down (see my note above).  :) --amandawarrington 15:45, 13 August 2011 (UTC)

Awesome to see how much the article has grown since I started it! :) I've added back in links to the film page and blog posts tagged with the film on rosemarysutcliff.com as that site does often link to film reviews and info on the web and is run by RS's literary executor who authorised the film and gets behind-the-scenes info.
