Can someone tell me if I did this even close to right? Mrs. Potato Head 13:03, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
- Pretty close! When you're doing a reference, the bit that says "Link text" is for you to replace with whatever you want the link text to be (e.g., I changed it on this page to read "the Cost of Love" to make it clear exactly what was being linked to). The problem you were having with the image is that we don't hotlink images on the wiki - you can't point to an external source. You have to download the image you want to your own computer, and then upload it into the wiki, using the link in the Toolbox section of the sidebar for "Upload file". If it's a large image, you can turn it into a thumbnail on the page that people can click through for the larger version - just put 'thumb' in the link (something like, "Image:imagename.jpg|thumb|text you want for your caption"). --Arduinna 19:25, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
