Talk:Susan Smith-Clarke
There may be some confusion because Susan Smith Clarke went through several names. Since she is a very public fan figure (donated her zines to the National Library of Australia) and been featured in articles discussing her fannish contributions, using her various real names should fit within our pre-1995 name policy.
It is when we come across other Sues, Susans that use the last names B, C or S that we may run into problems. Keeping in mind that many contributors abbreviate names as they upload without cross-checking so we may have no way of going back to verify.
So far I've indentified:
- Susan B - Star Trek, publisher of the Mahko Root [1] (according to the Trekindex this is Susan Burr)
- Susan Bishoff - Hardcastle & mcCormick [2]
- Susan Bowden - Earth 2 [3]
- Susan Cole - MUNCLE [4]
- Susan Crites - Star Trek TOS/Deep Space 9/TNG writer (she is listed under both Sue C, Susan C and Susan Crites)[5]
- Susan Cutter - a Blake's 7 writer[6]
- Sue S. for The Best of Enigma: Starsky and Hutch and Gods of the Copybook Headings (which Doro says are correct)
- Susan S - a Starky & Hutch writer [7] & [8]
- Susan Sicafoosh - Robin Hood [9] & [10]
- Susan Smith - The Equalizer [11] & [12]
- Susan Deborah Smith - Remington Steel [13]
and then there are the stories/zines only attributed to Susan such as [14] & [15] & [16] & [17]
I suspect that some of the Sue S. and Susan S. and Susan Smiths may also be incorrectly redirecting.
- Susan Shwartz - Star Trek professional writer (her name shouldn't need to be abbreviated)--Morgandawn 20:16, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
- The Sue S. redirects for The Best of Enigma: Starsky and Hutch and Gods of the Copybook Headings are correct. I don't know about the redirect for Ten-Thirteen but the author has checked out other pages with her fiction and I haven't heard anything about this one being wrong. --Doro 20:28, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
- I think we need a Sue S or Susan S disambig page then.--Morgandawn 20:36, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
