templates for source text

I switched out the glossary template for the fandom by text template--even though ST:II isn't a separate fandom, it's a part of the source material. The way the template is currently set up is very source-text centric--it asks for bibliographic information--so I think it fits okay for episodes and films and books that do not constitute an entire fandom, but are significant enough to warrant their own page. However, I'm wondering if we want to create another template for these kinds of pages or rethink the Template:FandombyText. Especially that date field--we've been putting the date the source text was published, not the dates the fandom was active, but it's ambiguous as is. Both pieces of information are useful, in my opinion.--æþel 23:22, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
