Talk:Stanley Uris
I feel dumb for putting "Fanlore is not a wiki" in my edit description when I added the "Needs Less Canon" tag, because obviously this is a wiki, so I'm here to apologize for that gaff and to clarify why the notice has been added. Fanlore is a fandom wiki, now a wiki for for the source material and canon that fandom is based on. The detailed info in the Canon section on this page is the type of info that belongs on Stephen King Wiki, and already exists there – if people want to know these details, they will go to the Stephen King Wiki. Pages on Fanlore should have information about fandom activity. This is how fans react to a character, how fans interpret a character, how fans represent the character in fanworks, trends in fanworks, etc. The Canon section of this page doesn't need to be much more than a brief summary of Stan's actions and relationships in canon. —caes (talk) 03:23, 5 December 2019 (UTC)
