Talk:Spoggly

Both the Spoggly and Bammel pages were blanked out, with no explanation given. These entries are rather mysterious and may need further explanation (are they pseuds for the same person?), but the manner in which they were blanked out was suspicious, so I undid the changes. If there are legitimate concerns about these pages as they stand, please comment here.--æthel 03:43, 7 July 2010 (UTC)

I have no solid evidence or anything, but they were created early in the wiki (Dec 2008) and the initial writing of both (with the confusing injokes and such) was different from most other wiki pages, and these haven't been interlinked and integrated in the rest of the wiki since, so to me the blanking suggests to me that maybe in the meantime the initial creator come to think that the wiki hasn't become what they expected, and that these wouldn't fit, and tried to delete through blanking, and as the original pseud hadn't not edited since, maybe a new pseud was easier than password recovery. I mean, besides the inital creator nobody so far has shown any interest in these (besides some cleanup), so that makes an editing war seem unlikely, and like you say they don't seem to have controversial content either that I can see.

That said though, I agree that it is better to leave the content for expansion that might happen at some point after all.--RatCreature 09:55, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
