Topics this page could use that I'm vaguely aware of but not enough to actually write about:

• A sizeable part of the fandom is centred around the tie-in manga and the characters/teams appearing in it. They're not in the game at all but have a lot of fic written for them on Ao3
• Cafe Cardamari Tales is a fairly popular fan comic
• Some popular youtubers are involved in Splatoon fandom as well - called "Splatubers" by fans

I added the fan comic and the mention of Splatubers. I think the comics are much like the Pokemon comics (in terms of their relationship to the game and the fans/general fandom) and may need its own page. Sparrow (talk) 16:45, 9 February 2024 (UTC)
