Just a guess, but it looks to me that prior to #4 (which seems to have a comb binding) these might have had bindings that can't hold that many pages, the first picture in the gallery especially clearly shows a staple. So the issues were split into several volumes due to the binding limitations, perhaps.--RatCreature 02:17, 27 February 2010 (UTC)
