Talk:Permission to Archive

I've tentatively started by listing undr fandoms. But I wonder whether listing it via authors (and adding the fandoms along with any limits) would be better. --MeeDee 01:43, 28 February 2012 (UTC)

Answering myself here - I went ahead and started organizing it via authors names. That is how it seems to be organized on the Blanket Permission to Podfic page.--MeeDee 03:19, 28 February 2012 (UTC)
This may be a fannish cultural thing, but I see this page as possibly becoming very unwieldy. It's less common now, I think, but back in the days of mailing lists, permission to archive was a fairly standard part of headers. That's. . . a lot of people to list on this page. --Anenko 02:14, 28 February 2012 (UTC)
right, totally forgot the mailing lists...we are planning on using this for zine fic. There are various permission lists floating around but no place for zine authors to record their permissions. And sadly a few of the permissions have been lost because only one or two fans knew the wishes of a deceased fan before they too died or gaffiated. I'll edit the permissions section to be more clear. --MeeDee 02:25, 28 February 2012 (UTC)
How about splitting this page into Permission to Archive (glossary term, including mailing list headers) and List of Authors Who Give Permission to Archive Zine Fic? --Doro 18:41, 4 March 2012 (UTC)
