Talk:I Believe in Sherlock Holmes
I suggest moving this page to I Believe in Sherlock Holmes, since that seems to be in wider use and I'm reasonably sure that's what it started as. I think dropping his last name developed a little later as a shorter variation (especially useful for Twitter). But I usually see his last name included on graphics and flyers and the rest; even on the last-name-less tumblr tags, the content predominantly uses Sherlock's last name; and in the article discussing the meme without his last name in the title, the two pictured examples include it. I mostly see it without his last name on Twitter, which corresponds with the shorter hashtag.
I like the section about the comparison between the meme and the original fan reaction to Reichenbach, but could someone rewrite the section to create a closer comparison between the past fan reaction and this particular meme? Otherwise maybe it should be removed, since Diane Duane isn't talking about the meme; Duane's post only mentions the meme in an ETA, and not in direct comparison to the original reaction, so it doesn't seem very quotable for this page. It might be more relevant for the Sherlock (BBC) page instead. -- Kylara 09:11, 27 March 2012 (UTC)
