Talk:Fandom 1994-2000-ish/Part One
It seems adding a link inside a quote makes it so all the text on the whole page doesn't display. At least that's as far as I can figure it. I added the link as a reference, but don't want to have to do that for a variety of reasons. Is there anyway around this? Is it a bug? Am I doing it wrong? --Mrs. Potato Head 14:09, 17 April 2012 (UTC)
I'm going to go through these pages and put in all the outside links. Should I then follow the precedent on this page and add them to the bottom as refs rather than internal links? Also, Arduinna includes several screenshots: I'm going to make a note of each one, along with a ref -- I hope that is sufficient/desireable (I'm flying by the seat of my pants on this project). --Mrs. Potato Head 15:20, 17 April 2012 (UTC)
- You can add screenshots within a quotation template but external links may be a problem, so I would recommend refs instead (unless we have a wiki page for the linked thing, then wikilinks are the Way to go.) --Doro 16:12, 17 April 2012 (UTC)
- I can help with the screenshots. Just let me know when you're done with a page and I can add them.--MeeDee 18:10, 17 April 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you to those who are helping! I think I've got the bulk of the text all set. I'm going to work on a better introduction. I also am going to add the next page's link to the bottom of each page. And I want to add a WebCite to the three major page links. What I need from others is: 1)someone with fresh eyes to swing through it and make sure I've got all the text reposted accurately, 2) to have screenshots added, 3) to make sure all of Arduinna's hotlinks documented in the best possible way, 4) to add cateories if necessary, 7) to decide if it needs a template(Doro, you'd suggested a timeline one?), and 6) to make links/cites/refs/sections on the various responses. This last one will be tricky as I ended up breaking the article into so many pieces. --Mrs. Potato Head 18:42, 17 April 2012 (UTC)
