Talk:Distasis (multimedia zine)

Distasis and Disastis *have* to be the same zine. Only the publishers's website only lists two issues and the Battlestar Galactica site lists nine. Do we dare combine them, and if we do, how should this discrepancy be handled? --Mrs. Potato Head 14:44, 3 May 2010 (UTC)

I agree that they are likely the same zine, but I have no clue which is the title. AFAIK neither is a word in the dictionary, the only proper word coming close that I know would be "Diastasis", the medical term. However, googling shows me that Laura Michaels has a website called Distasis (apparently a shortening of DImensional STASIS) here:

http://www.distasis.com/write/index.htm and that says that this is also the title of a multimedia zine she published. However that site only mentions two issues[1] and that she was still seeking submissions for #3. So the info on this page seems correct, but I don't know how the other plays into this.--RatCreature 16:54, 3 May 2010 (UTC)

I think I'm going to combine them, go with, obviously, her name and and figure there were at least nine issues as per the BG site. That makes the most sense. --Mrs. Potato Head 18:01, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
