Talk:Daring Attempt
I get that having the covers scattered within not much text (yet) makes the layout odd, however as it is now with the row at the bottom, that causes a horizontal scrollbar at the bottom for my screen size and resolution and that is not really better. I don't know a great solution to this, but I just wanted to point out that formatting them this way is not ideal either.--Ratcreature 19:47, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
- Is it better now?--Doro 20:00, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, now the fourth shows in a second row to me.--Ratcreature 20:03, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
Question about author pseuds.
As I was linking the authors for this zine, I noticed that there are several writing credits attributed to "N.S." and couldn't figure out if this was also Natasha Solten. The pseuds on her page don't list these initals but it's the only thing that would make sense to me.
Another thing I noticed is that in the section for issue 6, the introduction credits Linda Frankel for "The Memoirs of James T. Cougar" but later when the contents are listed again, the story is attributed to "Tiberius Tomcat."
- BlackPancake, thank you for working on this page! I checked all the zines and "N.S." is never spelled out, even in zines with Natasha Solten's work. It's very possible they are the same person, but we can't be sure.
- Linda Frankel is indeed Tiberius Tomcat. She just used that pseud in issue #6 for the writing contest. It was revealed by the editor in the next issue. --MPH 15:21, 29 January 2025 (UTC)
Thanks for clearing that up! I figured Tiberius Tomcat was probably a pseud used just to keep in theme with that one particular story but didn't want to make assumptions!
And it's too bad we don't know for sure who N.S. is but I think the edit to mention the possibility of it being Natasha Solten makes the most sense. BlackPancake (talk) 18:54, 29 January 2025 (UTC)
