Talk:Concrit
"While most communities encourage concrits, flames are often banned." Is concrit really a countable noun?
- I guess the plural of concrit is really ... concrit? (Although you can have "criticisms". Firefox spellcheck tells me so.) --Emma 18:15, 23 March 2009 (UTC)
Great job, everyone who's been working on this page!
A couple suggestions for the structure - I don't think the "Gift or Work?" section would fit better as a subsection of debates, at the same level as "Your place or mine?" (maybe just before it?).
I think the paragraph about the discussion in S and H (1980, 1982) would also fit better as a subsection, in between Warped Space (1975) and the 2008 LJ debate.
Maybe it would make sense to divide "Concrit debates" into two large sections, one for history of discussions on conrit (Warped Space, S and H, and LJ, with more to be added later) and one for the questions and debates that tend to come up cyclically. Sophinisba 15:37, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
- Tried the two main header idea. I like it. I think I was trying to introduce a concept with the gift or work thing that doesn't really fit well there. It could be moved.--facetofcathy 15:45, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
On the history page facetofcathy mentioned wanting some background on vidding concrit, in 2005 at the LJ vidding community par_avion ran a vidding feedback exchange (the original post). Subsequent round up posts, as well as other feedback posts made to that comm are saved in the comm's memories. There's also the_reel on LJ (now dead?) that did a lot of concrits for vids. I've been out of the vidding fandom loop for a while now so my links are a little dated but it's a place to start. -- paraka 18:33, August 3, 2011 (EDT)
