I'd like to add a point on how details of Tom Hardy and JGL's lives have been incorporated into fandom, for example: Eames being tattooed, Arthur being Jewish etc. Suggestions? anotherslashfan 11:15, 6 December 2010 (UTC)

Oh, excellent idea! I wasn't around for the eary days of the fandom but I suspect Tom Hardy saying things like "I've played with everything and everyone" contributed to that fanon characterisation of Eames as an easy-going, experienced, promiscious flirt. There are probably fics where Eames has a tragic past as a recovering drug addict or alcoholic, but I haven't read them. I haven't seen any OCD!Eames fics either like there are OCD!Arthurs; there are certainly fics where Eames becomes obssessed with something (usually Arthur) but I don't know if that's drawing from THard's personality at all. Of course there's Eames' ability to imitate accents etc but that goes with being a forger, as well as being an actor. There are definitely references of Tom gaining or losing massive amounts of weight or muscle for different roles, usually through Arthur's observations of Eames as he sees him from time to time for jobs throughout the years.

There are comic/crack fics incorporating Tom's online shenanigans such as "co0king turkey yo" and the camerapics - weatherfront's private investigator/art thief fic The Greedyhearts references several THard pics and the accompanying website arthurandeamesstealthings.com utilises his infamous orange trucker hat/green tshirt over the shoulders/hand down the pants/pout selfpic. There's the cracktastic red velvet cake fic C.O.A.D or Cake On A Dick, which starts off THard rpf and then turns out to be a dream Arthur's having, using embedded links to pics throughout the fic. There was also a Thanksgiving fic/art idk who by, but it had fanart of Eames' terrible attempt at cooking a turkey accompanied by Tom's pic of the same. I think I've seen Eames' writing in "x words x words xx" format too. Probably some of the above fits better on an Eames page (we need one!) but those fics are all Arthur/Eames.

Great ideas! Anyway, you are probably right that these things should go on the character pages of Arthur and Eames (which we don't have as of yet), but I don't know if Arthur and Eames are portrayed similarly when not paired with each other (which, considering the prevalence of Arthur/Eames may be a moot point, anyway). -- anotherslashfan 16:28, 7 December 2010 (UTC)
