Talk:221B (glossary term)
I propose renaming this page to 221B (glossary term). The current qualifier made me think that this was an article about a drabble entitled "221B."--æþel 01:04, 31 October 2012 (UTC)

I am seeing the format referred to with increasing frequency as "Sherlock Drabble" (also Fanlore's redirect), implying a connection to the BBC series - I know it was definitely coined by KCS and for canon Holmes fic, as I was active in the fandom at the time. My current assumption is that it was simply adopted by BBC Sherlock fans and the origins in Canon Holmes fics increasingly forgotten as it gained extremely widespread use. Am curious, however, whether there is any evidence that it may have been re-coined / re-invented independently from KCS's challenge by BBC Sherlock fans? If that is the case, it would make a great addition to this page. --Jaelijn (talk) 10:35, 19 September 2020 (UTC)
