Artist's Comments
A very challenging piece. Drawing in graphic pencil to show them underwater without looking like they're covered in white tattoos was not easy! But I love the idea that Spock, a desert-born Vulcan, would go into the water with his t'hy'la. These were drawn in the days before digital. No scans, some internet, but unusable for source material. K/S artists would sometimes take pictures off the TV for source material! Me---I searched the gay porn magazines. These were only helpful a little because I didn't need lots of erect penises, only loving embraces, of which there weren't many in gay porn magazines. And then there was the matter of getting any reproductions for prints. Artists had to take their originals |to printer shops and be faced with explaining what the artworks were about. Or trying to explain. Or not explaining at all. [2]

Amazing! Love the details. You're very talented ❤️🔥 [3]
Beautiful! And the notes made me LOL out loud. I’m a youngin’. [4]
Absolutely stunning. So blown away by how incredible this is that I do not have words. <3 [6]
This has always been one of my favorites of yours. The water turned out so well, just really evocative. [7]
Stunning is the right word. And not being an artist I never thought about the difficulty of drawing someone underwater. Incredible! Spock is just beautiful, and somehow I can see Kirk turning and laughing into his arms. As always your work sings to my soul. Wish I could write what it makes me feel.[8]
This is beautiful!! I have been drawing for many years, striving to be this detailed. I can't imagine learn to draw photo realistic images and distributing these works during the mid 90s. Thank you for all your hard work!![9]

Wow. This is just stunning. I love the effect of the light on the water, and who incredibly intimate and suggestive the art is without being explicit. Beautiful work![10]
I am conquered. This art is simply beautiful. It must have taken so much time and effort to get skills like that![11]

You are so talented! You captured the underwater effect so beautifully (as well as Kirk and Spock 😍) Thank you for uploading so many of your works to AO3 [12]
