SuperStories is a multifandom archive focused on superhero fanworks.
As of March 2001 it had 824 works and 102 authors, no ano seguinte had 1012 works whit 122 authors. After that the servers of both sites -- tripod and .net hosted -- went down.
In December 2019, the migration of the site to a new server was started, with the last update on January 26, 2020.

I created the Villain's Lair a log time ago, I moved to SuperStories, and finally got a qualified domain name and home at SuperStories.net Battling accusations of theft (after receiving permission to post the stories/pictures), violation of privacy, and a few other problems, it has slowly remained up.I have goals for SuperStories
Be a wide library collection of Artwork, Stories, and other items spanning across the genera of Superhero work from Romance, to Bondage Be a place were people can get to together have fun such as on the chat server ( irc:Chat.superstories.net ) Welcome new people with stories or joining in with Interactive Stories or Addventure As long as you do not cause trouble, (and are over 18/21 in some sections) you are welcome here.

Mission Statement
The Superstories web site specializes in the publication of erotic fiction about superheroes and superheroines. The site is designed to act as a sort of writing laboratory. Anyone interested in this genre can not only read fiction of this type at Superstories, but also participate in the writing process as well. We invite anyone visiting the site to add sections to any of the many ongoing storylines. We only ask that participants be courteous of your fellow writers as well as respectful of the stories themselves.The site administrator reserves the right to remove posts which derail the current storyline, ignore continuity, or are otherwise harmful to the quality of the story. It's our belief that everyone has at least some writing ability. All that is required is some imagination, a little intelligence, and some practice. So if you're interested in what you see here, but you have not written much in the past, consider this an opportunity to begin in a supportive environment. The more people who participate in an interactive site like this, the healthier the site becomes. It's as simple as that.
The administrator will try and keep things up to date in a resonable manner, but because this is not a full time job and other limiting factors (servers problems, other obligations) same day/next day or adminsitration can not be on a daily basis.
Although not all material on this site is of an erotic nature, it does contain a large amount of adult material that is restricted to you unless you are eighteen years or older.
