Stress is a Newsies fan. She was a moderator of the One Voice mailing list[1] and ran the Infatuation fanlisting. She frequently wrote "Mary Sue" fic, using her original character Stress as a self-insert to ship with Jack Kelly. She ran such sites as T.A.R.K. Control, Newsies-Fan.com, Newsies Link, NewsiesPedia, and probably many more. She contributed to the popularity of Casting Calls. She is now a professional author and she is a 14-time winner of NaNoWriMo.
