The Star Trek Charity Calendar was created in 1987 to raise funds for the Australian sf convention Eccentricon. The guest of honor at the convention was Bjo Trimble, one of the earliest Star Trek fans, and the funds were needed to help stage the convention. Bjo even appeared as the artwork for the month of July.
All artwork was drawn by Marianne Plumridge, a well known science fiction and fantasy artist.
