Spock on a Harley is an illo by Shelley Butler.
It was bought by the author of Sweet Surrender for use in her story. That story was printed in First Time #53.

For ages I wanted to do a motorcycle Kirk or Spock. When I found this motorcycle, I thought at first it would be Kirk up there. Then I realized that it should be Spock — much more unexpected. But he looks so perfect in leather and on that Harley! Drawing the motorcycle was fun, but more fun was Spock’s leather pants! [1]

Friday was my first visit to see the beautiful art for sale at the convention. I’ve seen and greatly admired Shelley’s art in zines, but to see her work on a larger scale was to appreciate her talents even more. I felt very sorry for an artist with some Kirk and Spock drawings that were near Shelley’s. I’m sure that artist didn’t sell any of them, with such excellent Kirk and Spock art on display so nearby. And Shelley had an incredible picture of a long-haired Spock, lounging on top of a motorcycle, dressed in black leather pants that laced up that sides that made my blood boil! “Spock on a Harley” finally sold at the auction to a very happy Deanna, so I got to drool over him in our room! An honest to God masterpiece, it's so so good. The print I own is something I really treasure. 💙💛 [5]
