Rocks Fall, Everyone Dies is a tabletop RPG term used to describe when the game master is frustrated enough that they kill all the player characters in one fell swoop. The phrase is also used to describe events in other media, such as when a writer ends a series by killing off everyone in it, such as in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series.
This phrase has been appropriated among many fans to describe an action taken that is derived from frustration. Although it is most commonly applied to fictional characters, the phrase is also applied to people.
