sonyeoncheonji is an EXO LiveJournal community for posting fanworks. According to the community profile, it is the first such community, created so early that the name of the community was based on a previous nickname for the band.[1]

Based on community tags, the majority of fanworks posted were fanfic: 8972 posts for fanfic, 71 fanart posts, 23 fanvid posts, 15 fanmix posts, 8 fanpoems, and 1 podfic.[2]

The community organized a big bang in 2013, hosted at sncj-bigbang, and two Reverse Bangs in 2013-2014, hosted at sncj-reversebb. A secret santa was held annually 2012-2016 at sncj-santa. Signup posts and other administrivia were also posted to the main community for the big bang, sncj_reversebb, and the secret santa.

The rules post mentions several rules for formatting posts such as not changing the font or centering text, plus the requirement that graphics (which they distinguish from fanart) should be posted to the exo_art community instead. Warnings are required for Mpreg, rape, noncon, dubcon, "Excessive violence", self harm, child abuse, incest, character death, and kinks.[3]

Although the community was created in January 2011, posting did not begin until late December. Posting was sporadic until March 2012, but by May 2012 daily posts were in the double digits. The community remained active until around 2016-2017 and seems to have been all but abandoned by 2018.

As of March 2022, the community has 16,071 posts; 9,175 comments; and 9,723 members.[1]
