I hope nobody minds a review of a really old story. (As a very recent K/Ser, I appreciate them myself.) This little tongue-in-cheek tale of a certain starship captain and his first officer in a predicament had me in stitches. Kir kand Spock are in a hot-air balloon, put there by the very superstitious natives of a low-tech planet. They're without their clothes or means of steering and landing the vehicle. Guess what happens? You probably can, but it's how it happens that's so funny. What a delight to find a really hilarious (if a bit silly) K/S story! And a well-written one to boot. [1]
