Snow White is the protagonist in the Disney film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and a supporting character in the video game, Kingdom Hearts. She is a main character on the television series Once Upon a Time. For canon and fandom information pertaining to that show, see Snow White (OUAT).

Canon

Snow White originated in the Brothers Grimm fairytale before being adapted to the 1937 Disney film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

In Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Snow White initially lives under her stepmother, the Evil Queen, who is jealous of her beauty. One day, her stepmother's magic mirror informs her that Snow White has surpassed her in beauty, and the Queen throws her out of the castle and sends a huntsman to kill her. The huntsman instead helps her run away into the forest where she finds seven dwarfs. When she finds out that Snow White has survived, the Queen disguises herself as an old hag and gives Snow White a poison apple, which sends her into a coma. When the dwarfs find her dead, they track down and kill the Queen. One day, a prince, finds Snow White's body, and kisses her. This lifts her coma, and he and Snow White go off to live happily ever after.

In the Kingdom Hearts franchise, Snow White is one of the Princesses of Heart whose heart is required to open the final door in the first Kingdom Hearts. She also appears in Kingdom Hearts X, where she is lost in the woods and must be escorted out, and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep.
