Calista Echo is a wonderful AU writer. Aside from some fabulous (but sadly, unfinished) series, this is probably my favourite story by her.Jim is in a mental institution, a prisoner of his senses; unable to speak, or express himself in any coherent way, until a new aide arrives to care for him.
Wounded, angsty Jim, vulnerable Blair and a happy ending.[1]
