Zine name comes from contents: SLAsh story-GEN story-slaSH story.

The zine is not dated but appears to have been published in 1996.

From a flyer:

Slagensh is an Oreo mini-zine - two slash stones sandwiching one gen story. "Through the Heart," by Dee, is a here-and-now B/D (Professionals) Valentine's Day story. Also by Dee is "Cold Hill's Side," which blends Pros B/D fanfic "canon" with fantasy. Our gen offering is "A Selfish Way to Commit Suicide," by Ellis Ward, which brings together Snake Plissken of Escape from New York and Leela from Doctor Who.

Tolerance

When reading or writing fan fiction
Enjoyment many come from depiction
Of heroes' intent
Of slash or straight bent
But this oughtn't cause undue friction!
