"My episode guide consists of 12 pages (6 sheets) of typing paper with all of the Simon and Simon episodes - 6 seasons. A small paragraph for each containing: title, date first aired, brief synopsis of plot, and brief comments from me - occasionally. Also, who wrote or directed if it was one of the stars or one of the producers that S&S fans are familiar with. That's it. No topics of the month, no illos, no cover; xerox copies only, stapled in one corner. Weight comes to 1-1/2 ounces indicating 39-cent postage and $1.00 to cover xeroxing and my typing. As the series is at an end probably for good, this is a one-shot compilation. As to why I do it, it's pretty obvious. Lots of S&S fans don't have all the episodes, and even the ones that do need a guide. I do. It's an extremely convenient, handy reference." -- from a blurb in Pop Stand Express #17
