The Sime/Gen Concordance is a 140-page Sime~Gen resource by John Shimwell.
The assistant assistant compiler was Leigh Kimmel.
Is is copyrighted as 1990 by Jacqueline Lichtenberg and Jean Lorrah.

The Filipowicz Connection
Beginning in 1978 to at least until 1989, Katie Filipowicz mentioned doing a lot of work on a Sime/Gen Concordance. It is unclear what, if any, relationship it has to the completed Shimwell one. It's very possible that all her work was incorporated into the Shimwell zine.
From A Companion in Zeor #1 in 1978:
Several years from now, about the same that that "Mahogany Trinrose" appears, I'll be publishing a concordance/companion to the Sime series.
Jacqueline suggested that I might like to do it, and of course, she figured me completely. I jumped at the opportunity.
Right now, I'd like to hear from you Sime/Gen fans. If you could have anything at all (short of a full-color reproduction of Hugh Valleroy's Arenesti design!) in such a concordance, what would you like to see? I have had and will have access to some unpublished material that will add depth to the background of the series. And I hope I can get Jacqueline to answer some questions, since she is very concerned that the concordance be done properly.
Very little has been decided at the moment, although work has begun. There will most like be a dictionary-type "lexicon", much like the one in the Star Trek Concordance. Perhaps we will have a few articles on specific aspects of the Sime and Gen cultures. Many other things are possible. What I am looking for are suggestions for emphases and for other features. If anyone has any questions about the Sime/Gen universe, things that have bothered them, I'd also like to hear from you. If I happen to know the answer or have an opinion on it, I'll be sure to tell you about it.

The Shimwell Edition
A fan named John Shimwell was the publisher of a GBC bound 150-page concordance. Again, it is unknown if the work done by Katie Filipowicz is incorporated into this edition. The assistant compiler was Leigh Kimmel. Filipowicz is mentioned in the Shimwell zine: "My thanks go to Kerry Schaefer, Katie Filipowicz and Karen Powers for their helpful comments, many of which have been incorporated into this revised first edition. Their contributions are shown as (Kerry), (Katie), or (Karen.)"
A complimentary per-publication was issued in October 1990, a second edition (revised and updated) was published in March 1991. Shimwell himself died on December 21, 1991.
