Shuichi Saito, Shuichi Saito, and uh...and Shuichi Saito! is a crack fanfiction parodying the sides of the Uzumaki fandom the author does not belong to.
Prompt
The idea behind this fic was the author's belief that reviewers of Uzumaki characterize her favorite character, Shuichi, drastically wrong; and that the official live-action adaptation by Higuchinsky characterized him equally wrong. To illustrate this perceived mischaracterization of Shuichi, NOT_Kirie_Goshima wrote a crack fic in which the three different versions of Shuichi meet each other.
Summary
Review!Shuichi arrives at the meeting twenty minutes late, announcing his arrival by flinging open the door dramatically and automatically declaring himself to be the superior Shuichi--however, he pronounces his surname wrong, as "Sato" instead of the correct name, "Saito"; a mistake common among reviewers. Movie!Shuichi comments on this, and review!Shuichi simply denies he even said "Sato" in the first place and tells his movie self to get his hearing checked. He then proceeds to physically and verbally intimidate manga!Shuichi, who has been completely silent thus far, and is annoyed by his manga counterpart's stuttering and shyness. He attempts to beat him, humorously stating that he's going to be the first man in history to technically beat up himself, however is blocked by movie!Shuichi, who is irritated by his arrogance and obnoxiousness. Movie!Shuichi then promptly orders review!Shuichi to leave, however review!Shuichi is furious that anyone would try to tell him what to do, and instead screams at movie!Shuichi to leave, which he does. Review!Shuichi then attempts yet again to beat manga!Shuichi, however is this time stopped by Kirie Goshima, who states that she just finished her meeting with her review and movie counterparts. Kirie then picks manga!Shuichi up and carries him out of the meeting room back to the manga version of Kurozu-Cho, and the two discuss their negative experiences with their counterparts and agree that they are the best versions of themselves.
