This fic is notable for being the oldest-known English language Naruto fanfic; it was published on FanFiction.Net on November 17, 2001, more than a year before the Naruto manga was officially translated into English.[note 1] This fic takes place after the Zabuza-Haku arc in the Naruto manga.
