Sei/Youko is a ship from Maria-sama ga Miteru. Despite Sei and Youko not being connected to each other through the canon soeur system, Sei/Youko is popular due to their friendship. Another contributing factor may be the popularity of Sachiko/Yumi and Shimako/Noriko, both of which prevent Sei and Youko being more widely shipped with their own petites soeurs.
Due to the characters being from different rose "families", the ship has to be tagged with a portmanteau tag on Pixiv instead of the fandom's usual tagging scheme. As a result, Sei/Youko may appear at a glance to be more popular than even the series' principal relationship, Sachiko/Yumi (usually tagged only as "Red Roses" instead of "SachiYu").
