Seasons: Unoffical Fanbook for Getou Suguru is digital fanbook dedicated to the character Getou Suguru from Jujutsu Kaisen.

About

SEASONS is a DIGITAL ONLY fanbook made by a group of friends who have a lot of feelings for a certain Geto Suguru. The project is loosely themed after the meteorological seasons, representing the seasons of Geto’s life.[1]

On December 10, 2021, the project's social media accounts made their first announcements of the project[2][3]. As this was a collaboration among friends, no applications or interest checks were conducted. Throughout the period leading up to sales opening, the Twitter account conducted multiple polls asking about what people thought about Getou Suguru's character, accompanied by featured artist doodles.

Contributors list were announced on January 6, 2022, along with preorders on Gumroad. A free version of the zine included 70 pages of content. An extended version, featuring extra content up to 123 pages and a bonus compilation of doodles from promotional polls and behind the scenes sketches, could be purchased at the base price of $5 USD.

The zine was released digitally on February 3, 2022 and is set to end April 30, 2022. A giveaway of one physical copy of the zine was announced on March 22, 2022 and the winner was announced on April 1, 2022 to a user named seijohjay[4].

A limited physical release was announced on May 12, and sold out on the same day [5]. A second round of preorders of the physical version of the fanbook opened from June 26, 2022 to July 30, 2022[6]. All copies of the second round were shipped out by October 17, 2022[7]. The project's team reported on December 25, 2022, that $7000 USD made from the zine were donated to House of Tulip[8].

An emergency leftover sales was announced on October 23, 2023, for charity to The Palestinian Children's Fund Relief[9]. Leftover sales officially began on October 27, 2023, and sold out on the same day[10].

Hi! No, unfortunately this fanbook was organized privately among friends. We don't have the logistical manpower to do a full zine production cycle so this remains a digital-only closed project. However, there are other Geto-centric events and zine opportunities popping up so definitely check those out![11]
