I didn't want to read this. I mean, look at the pairings - "B/m, B/f, B/f/f, B/m/m, B/mmmffmmmmmm". Then look at the warnings: "B&D, multiple partners, m/m sex, m/f sex, f/m/f sex, m/m/m sex". But I kept saying, Jane Mailander, Jane Mailander and finally I broke down and read Scoring Opportunity. Now, I'm not going to kid you that this is the most realistic characterisation of Blair you're ever going to read, but it's not the worst, and somehow there's something all too believable about the set up. If nothing else, if someone were to make a film based on this story, it would hardly be your average porno flick. Of course there's sex, sex sex. But there's also observations about relationships, fidelity, homophobia and personal worth. It's also well written, and nowhere near as unseemly as the pairings/warnings make it seem. I think it's well worth a look, whatever your preferred Sentinel pairing is.[1]
