In canon, Anne and Sasha are childhood best friends. They undergo a significant relationship arc during the show, eventually becoming estranged and in conflict with one another during their time in Amphibia before eventually reconciling.

In reunion, when Anne is holding onto Sasha as toad tower crumbles, she says "hey hey look at me look at me" and "everything is gonna be totally fine." However Sasha physically already had her eyes on Anne. This implies that maybe before amphibia, Sasha would frequently need grounding and reassurance during moments of weakness and panic and fear, and that's why that specific phrase was the first thing Anne thought to say in a moment of uncertainty and fear.
