Sasha James is a supporting character of the podcast The Magnus Archives.
Canon
Sasha worked as an assistant to Gertrude Robinson prior to Jonathan Sims becoming Head Archivist of the Magnus Institute. She dies relatively early in the series.
It is later revealed that Gertrude wanted Sasha to be her successor, but Elias Bouchard chose Jon instead.
Fandom
- Archivist!Sasha: This subject became common after it was revealed that Sasha was Gertrude's chosen successor, leading to many take on the alternate universe where Sasha became the Archivist instead of/in addition to Jon. They often explore how her tech skills and common sense would lead to a different story. They also explore what Jon's story would have been like if he had had Sasha's storyline and been replaced by the Not!Them.
